<p>Al silicate ore is treated with a soln. composed of 15-20% HCl and 1-5% hydrofluosilicic acid, balance water, whereby the kaolinite structure is destroyed without the application of a precalcining treatment of the Al ore which is usually required. The treatment gives a yield of 97% Al.</p> |
