<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves creating movement identification information, when a material is subjected to movements from a site until new site, by associating identification information of the new site with a bar code reader via a reading device. The movement identification information is transmitted to a data processing unit (1). The information is recorded and stored in a material database. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for tracking and managing a material e.g. equipment kind or work equipment (claimed), in an enterprise of construction, of maintenance, of civil engineering or in enterprise controlling utilization, maintenance and tracking of material. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The method permits to avoid error possibilities and does not necessitate recopying of list of technical or administrative data. The material can be distributed and returned from a working area with increased speed, thus permitting to reduce time and to carry out detailed checks at each return from the area. The method allows effective and precise tracking of different movements of the material from one site to another. The method permits to avoid errors by line personnel in assessment of certain technical characteristics such as utilization of optimal loads. The method allows immediate establishment possibility of a stock of the materials in an overall manner and/or by the working area. The method permits to optimize and simplify periodic checks carried by external services of technical control. The method permits to provide continuous respect to legal arrangements of marking of certain materials that remain at the level of stored administrative file.
