An electrical connection device comprising a pin, socket or lug which is electrically connected to groups of strands of an individual multi-bunch core of a coaxial machine, reeling or trailing cable. The connection system consists of a series of concentric grooves or bores, the centre groove being a round hole to receive the central single bunch of wires, and each other groove being arranged annularly concentric with the central hole and longitudinally displaced from the previous groove, corresponding to one coaxial group of bunches of wires, and arranged to receive that group of bunches of wires. Retention of the wires and electrical conduction between the wires and the device are achieved preferably by crimping the outer part of each groove to crush the wires, or alternatively by soldering or welding. |
