Disclosed is a cariporide (sodium-hydrogen exchanger) and ramipril (angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor) combination product. The use of the preparation is disclosed to be for preventing or delaying age-related dysfunctions of organs, especially heart failure, and for prolonging lifespan.
