Novel aggrecanase molecules

摘要

The identification of aggrecanase protein molecules capable of cleaving aggrecanase, the nucleotide sequences which encode aggrecanase enzymes and the processes for the production of aggrecanases are disclosed. The composition comprises the aggrecanase enzymes, the antibodies and methods for developing inhibitors of the aggrecanase. The inhibitors and antibodies may be used in the treatment of conditions characterised by degradation of articular cartilage.
