<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficiently performing output processing such as print output to be performed in response to the request of an information processing apparatus (PC) utilizing accumulated image of an image processing apparatus (MFP machine) via a network, in particular, image processing of outputting an image subjected to editing processing without causing deterioration in image quality. <P>SOLUTION: In an image processing apparatus 100; image data stored in a storage medium 13 through a scanner input path are read upon a request from a client PC 200 and displayed on a display 27d, the image data are edited with the application of the client PC and processing such as image adjustment is applied to an image, and then the image data after editing processing are not transmitted and only the editing information is transmitted to the image processing apparatus 100, thereby reducing a load on a network. In the image processing apparatus 100 which receives the editing information, a third image processing unit 14 applies editing processing to an accumulated original image by using the editing information to acquire an edited image, and the acquired image is used for image output such as print output. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
