PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to freely change data processing inside a database and a display method and the like for an input/output screen. SOLUTION: This information processing system is constructed of database definition data 1 described by a general language used by a user in operating work and defining a model structure of a database 7, input/output screen definition data 2 described by the general language similarly, information processing function definition data 3 described by the general language and defining a function program name for operating creation, change, reference, deletion and the like of information, an engine program 5 interpreting input data from the respective definition data 1, 2 and 3 for performing predetermined information processing, a function program 6 actuated by the engine program 5 for performing predetermined information processing, and the database 7 consisting of an assembly of data.
