PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable selection and composition of an optimum color separation table in accordance with the image quality (granularity and color reproduction gamut) desired by a user when color material colors of new high saturation inks are provided in addition to key four colors of cyan, magenta, yellow and black, and light color inks. SOLUTION: In an ink system consisting of key four colors (cyan, magenta, yellow and black), light color inks and a high saturation inks, four color separation tables of only the key four colors, key four colors and light color inks, key four colors and high saturation inks, and key four colors and light color inks and high saturation inks are prepared.
