PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturizable broadband antenna having a wide-angle directivity. SOLUTION: The plane square spiral antenna has the coplanar line CL of a feeder and a spiral radiator 3. The coplanar line CL has two ground conductors 2A, 2B and a signal line 1 formed on the surface 4A of a dielectric board 4, and locates on the surface 4A of the dielectric board 4 so as to locate (but dose not superpose) in the vertical axis direction (Z-axis) of the radiator 3 existing on the same surface 4A. This prevents radio waves radiated from the radiator 3 from being suppressed (obstructed) by the feeder, thus obtaining a wide-angle directivity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
