PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray inspection system capable of preventing a defective product from getting mixed in a feed route on a good product side in a case that the operation state of an X-ray inspection device is in a non-steady state. SOLUTION: When the device on the upstream or downstream side of the X-ray inspection system 1 is stopped when looked from an article feed direction, the operation mode of the X-ray inspection system 1 is transferred to a stop mode in a case that the operation state of the X-ray inspection system becomes a non-steady state. The article staying in the X-ray inspection system 1 when changing to the stop mode is distributed to either one of good product and defective product conveyors on the basis of the inspection result due to the X-ray inspection device. By such constitution, the defective product can be prevented from being distributed to the good product conveyor even in a non-steady state. Further, even if the X-ray inspection system becomes the non-steady state to be stopped in operation, the problem that an article 5 remains in a shield box is not also produced.
