PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the constitution of a hole formation device A which is used for a manufacturing device for a cold retention container having a drain hole 13 vertically penetrating a side-wall part and a water-transmission hole 15 connecting the drain hole 13 to a container accommodating space. SOLUTION: A member for forming the drain hole 13 is divided into a first member 30 and a second member 40. The lower end position of the first member 30 fixed to a core mold 1 is set higher than the bottom face of a projection 70 for forming a water reservoir of the core mold 1. One end of a molding core 50 having flexibility like a silicon resin is attached to the bottom end of the first member 30 and the other end 51 is set in contact with the bottom face of the projection 70 for forming the water reservoir. The mold is closed in this posture, and foam molding is performed by an ordinary method.
