<p>A transfer apparatus (1) includes a first transport means (3) for holding and transporting a transfer work (2) to be transferred; a second transport means (5) for holding and transporting a carrier work (21) which transfers the transfer work (2) on the other side; and a transfer means (6) for receiving the transfer work (2) from the first transport means (3) and transferring it on the carrier work (21) of the second transport means (5). The transfer means (6) is provided with two or more end effectors (71-76) which turn on the same circumference and transport the transfer work (2), and each of the end effecters (71-76) turns independently from other end effecters. Each of the end effectors (71-76) is provided with a holding plane (70s) for holding the transfer work (2), and the holding plane (70s) is permitted to advance and retract along the turning axis of the end effectors (71-76).</p>
