<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system capable of exerting superior starting characteristics by a simple control. <P>SOLUTION: When a power generation stop demand is issued, a scavenging means 10 becomes a first treatment, and a large flow amount of dry air from an air supply device 11 is supplied from the entrance E1 of a fuel cell FC. Although the entrance E1 side becomes an over-dried state and the exit E2 side becomes a humidified state by this treatment, and after a sweeping treatment in a first state, the air from the air supply device 11 is supplied from the exit E2 side by switching first to fourth valves 12a to 15a so that the scavenging means 10 may become a second state. By this, because the supplied air is returned toward the entrance E1 side while taking in water content of the exit E2 side, the entrance E1 side becomes enabled to be humidified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
