<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control program for use in a network in the other device that cannot be connected to the computer network. <P>SOLUTION: A program transmission requesting means 44 of a program-controlled device 1 sends a request to transmit a program 49 for use in the device 1 and a program 35 for use in the other device 2 via a network communication means 42 connected to the computer network 6. When the network communication means 42 receives the programs related to the request by the program transmission requesting means 44, an update execution means 45 causes a storage means 48 to store the program for use in the device 1.
