<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition useful as a recording layer of a positive lithographic printing original plate for an infrared laser having excellent chemical resistance, broad development latitude, and excellent image reproducibility. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains (A) a high molecular compound having a structural unit represented by formula (1) and a phenolic hydroxyl group within a molecule, (B) an acid color-forming dye represented by formula (2), and (C) an infrared absorbent. In the formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>represents H or an arbitrary substituent; X represents a divalent linking group; and R<SP>2</SP>represents a monovalent substituent having an unshared electron pair-bonded moiety and a hydrogen atom capable of hydrogen bond, and capable of forming two or more thermally reversible hydrogen bonds. In the formula (2), the rings A, B and C each represent a mono- to tri-nuclear aromatic hydrocarbon group or aromatic heterocyclic group, and at least one of the rings B and C has at least one substituent selected from the group consisting of amino, alkoxy, aryloxy, alkylthio, and arylthio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
