IMMUNOPOTENTIATING G, U-CONTAINING OLIGORIBONUCLEOTIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immunopotentiating ribonucleic acid, to provide a homologue of the immunopotentiating ribonucleic acid, and to provide a method for utilizing the immunopotentiating ribonucleic acid and the homologue.

SOLUTION: An immunopotentiating composition contains an isolated RNA oligomer and, if necessary, a cationic lipid, wherein the oligomer has a base sequence containing at least one guanine (G) and at least one uracil (U) and a nucleotide length of the oligomer is 5 to 40. The composition contains the isolated RNA oligomer which comprises a G, U-rich RNA in one embodiment. Further, the composition contains the isolated RNA oligomer which has a base sequence comprising 5'-RURGY-3' (R is purine; U is uracil; G is guanine and Y is pyrimidine) in another embodiment.
