PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide, with a simple manufacturing facility, a release sheet with a printed layer, laid down in a release layer, for indicating fixed and/or variable information, a pressure sensitive adhesive label to which the release layer having the printed layer laid down in its adhesive layer of the pressure sensitive adhesive label is pasted, and the manufacturing process thereof.

SOLUTION: Thermal transfer release sheet of this invention has the release sheet which is composed of a release sheet base and a release layer, and the printed layer which shows fixed and/or variable information written by thermal transfer on the release layer. The release layer comprises the releasing agent containing both an olefin thermoplastic elastomer and polyethylene.
