<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To readily realize a request, in which the supply workability of a recording material is held properly, and an apparatus is miniaturized, and turning into high speed and energy-saving state (mainly a fixing device). <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus includes an image creating engine 1 for forming images and transferring toner images to the recording material at a transfer part, an upper supply tray 2 where the recording material is stored freely to be supplied by being arranged above of the image-generating engine 1, and a heat fixing part 5a arranged between the image generating engine 1 and the upper supply tray 2 and positioned near a center as compared with side walls 6a and 6b of at least an image forming apparatus casing 6.
