<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make contribution to an alleviation of the coloring, which is dependant on the visual angle at the time of amelioration of the contrast and black display, optically compensating liquid crystal cells, especially the liquid crystal cells in the Optically Compensatory Bend mode. <P>SOLUTION: In a transparent cellulose acylate film which is stretched in at least one direction, the degree of substitution of cellulose acylate is fluctuated in the range of 2.00-3.00 in the depth direction by not less than 0.05, and the cellulose acylate film is used for an optical compensation film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
