<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat flexible circuit board connector excellent in workability of assembly and capable of achieving cost reduction. <P>SOLUTION: In the flat flexible circuit board connector, an FPC 10 has a connection terminal 11 in an end which is reinforced with a reinforcement member and directly connected with a mating connection member. An FPC connector housing 12 is mounted on the connection terminal 11 to cover it, and fitted to a mating connector housing included in a mating connection member. The connection terminal 11 has a key slit 116 that extends from the top to the insertion direction to the FPC connector housing 12, a pair of first notches 117 formed at both sides of the slit 116, and a second notch 118 formed at each side edge in the top of the connection terminal 11. The FPC connector housing 12 has a first engagement 124 of which the top is fitted with the key slit 116 and engaged with the first notches 117 when the connection terminal 11 is inserted; and a pair of second engagements 125 that is formed as to hold both side edges of the top of the connection terminal 11 from both sides, and to be engaged with the second notch 118 from both sides. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
