PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder head gasket of low manufacturing cost not generating indentation on a cylinder block or the like. SOLUTION: A through hole 15a of smaller diameter than a combustion chamber hole 2 is bored on a plate shape gasket material 15 (a), a circumference edge part 15b of the through hole 15a is turned up to a radially outward direction by hemming processing, the circumference edge part is overlaid on the gasket material with positioning the turn up part 15c in an inner circumference side of the combustion chamber hole 2 (b). Overlaid gasket material and the circumference edge part are pressed by a pressing member 16 and are welded with using a laser welding means 17 under that condition (c), and the turn up part is removed at a position of the combustion chamber hole (d).
