PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately weld an injector plate to a valve housing by accurately temporarily stopping the injector plate to the front end wall of the valve housing. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve, A valve element 18 opening and closing a valve hole 7 in cooperation with a valve seat 8 is stored in the interior of the valve housing 2 in which the valve seat 8 and the valve hole 7 are formed in the front end wall, and the injector plate 10 having a fuel nozzle hole 11 communicated with the valve hole 7 is welded to the front end wall of the valve housing 2. A circular recessed part 45 is formed in the outer surface of the front end wall of the valve housing 2, and an injector plate 10 whose basic form is a disc having a smaller diameter than the recessed part 45 is fitted to the recessed part 45. The injector plate 10 is integrally provided with a temporary stop claw 46 pressed to bend and lock with one side of the inner peripheral surface of the recessed part 45 and simultaneously pressing the injector plate 10 to the other side of the inner peripheral surface of the recessed part 45.
