PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition having metallic tone with three-dimensional feeling obtained by compounding a transparent thermoplastic resin with a pearl pigment and carbon black, and to provide a decorative material coated with surface layer affected by no inner layer color and having metallic tone with uniform and three-dimensional feeling. SOLUTION: The resin composition having metallic-tone (resin A) is obtained by compounding 100 pts.wt. of the transparent thermoplastic resin (resin B) with 0.5-3.0 pts.wt. of the pearl pigment 5-100μm in average particle size and 0.005-0.30 pt.wt. of carbon black. The decorative material comprises inner layer and the surface layer of near-uniform thickness comprising the resin composition (resin A) and applied on the surface of the inner layer. In this decorative material, the resin composition (resin A) is such as to be mentioned above, and this decorative material is characterized by being 1% or less in the reflectance difference for visible light (440 nm wavelength) on the surface layer in the case of white and black color backgrounds respectively.
