The revolving element (30) is for a ballscrew which has a spindle and several balls (24) which roll in a race formed by a first ball rolling groove (12) in the spindle and a second ball rolling groove (18) in a nut (16) loosely fitted on the spindle shaft (10). The rolling element has a ball circulation channel for the connecting of the race to a ball return channel in the nut, and a receiving section (34) extending from the ball circulation channel (32) to the race and provided with a ball rolling surface to receive the balls which are rolling along the race. The ball rolling surface has several guiding faces in contact with the balls at several points to guide them towards the ball circulation channel. An independent claim is included for a ballscrew with the proposed revolving element.
