A van (2) is in most cases equipped with a sliding lateral door (4) and a hinged rear door (12), either made of a single piece or assembled of two panels. A collision is caused when the hinged door (12) is opened while the lateral door (4) is already slid to the back (32). A door stop element joined to the vertical parts of the frame of the rear door (12) is activated by a sensor element assembled of a cam and a micro switch, preventing the door (12) from exceeding a predetermined angle of moving (9).
