ANTIINFLAMMATORY THERAPEUTIC AGENT

摘要

An antiinflammatory therapeutic agent that is excellent from the viewpoint of suppression of the action of apoptosis on normal cells. There is provided an antiinflammatory therapeutic agent comprising a specified steroid agent combined with a component derived from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis. Although the use of steroid agent alone would cause side effects through apoptosis of normal cells, the use thereof in combination with a component derived from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis enables suppression of the action of apoptosis on normal cells by the steroid agent while retaining the antiinflammatory potency of the steroid agent.
