<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control valve of supply pump, controlling the opening of a throttle using the fuel leaking from a common rail to control the intake of fuel in a pressurizing chamber in an intake metering type fuel injection device. <P>SOLUTION: This intake control valve 20 of a supply pump controls the quantity of fuel supplied to a fuel gallery 40c communicated with a fuel pressurizing chamber 2b to control the fuel intake in the pressurizing chamber 2b. The intake control valve 20 includes: a barrel 51 fitted to a hydraulic head 40; and a piston 22 operated on receiving the pressure of fuel leaking from the common rail 3 in the barrel 51. Throttles 51f, 51f are formed between the ports 25c, 25c provided in a piston sliding hole 51a of the barrel 51 and the truncated cone-like intermediate part 22b of the piston 22. The openings of the throttles 51f, 51f are set according to the operating position of the piston 22 to control the quantity of fuel supplied to the fuel gallery 40c. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
