<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which enables a user to know that jammed recording paper is taken away. <P>SOLUTION: A control paper 13 detects paper being jammed based upon the detection result of a recording paper detection part 17. When the paper jamming is detected and then removed and an image begins to be formed on recording paper 21, a jam image 41 is formed on the recording paper 21. The user can, therefore, recognizes the occurrence of paper jamming from the recording paper 21 where the jam image 41 is formed by an output part 16. Consequently, the user knows whether the jammed recording paper 21 is taken away by a person when viewing recording paper 21 where an image is formed after image forming operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
