<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of preventing a little positional deviation in forming of an image on a paper sheet due to difference between conveyance paths of paper sheets in a simple and low-cost structure. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming apparatus comprises one paper conveyance path P converging a paper conveyance path P1 for cassette-supplying of paper and a paper conveyance path P2 for manual supplying of paper, an image forming section (a photosensitive drum 31, a transfer roller 34 and the like) for forming an image on a paper sheet fed from the paper conveyance path P, a paper sensor 17 for detecting the arrival of the paper sheet in the paper conveyance path P, a print mechanism control circuit 16 for controlling a timing of forming an image in the image forming section according to a signal from the paper sensor 17, and a white mask generation circuit 13a for setting a white mask on the image to be formed on the paper sheet. The white mask generation circuit 13a changes the sizes of the white masks at the top and bottom ends of the paper sheet depending on the feeding of the paper sheet from the paper conveyance path P1 or paper conveyance path P2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
