<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which has a heat pipe arranged at an imaging unit (PCU) including a development part and a write unit arranged above it, and cools an upper part of a main body, which is easily filled with heat, facing a write unit fitting base for write unit installation. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus in which the write unit 11 performs writing and the imaging unit 10 forms an image, a high heat conducting member 17 is provided below the write unit 11 and an end of the high heat conducting member 17 is cooled by a cooling fan 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
