<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food, drink, medicine and skin lotion containing a water-soluble preparation of an α-lipoic acid having improved water solubility. <P>SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition contains a water-soluble preparation containing one or more water-soluble substances selected from methanol, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, butanol, 1,3-butylene glycol, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, glycerol, acetone and water, 0.01-200 wt.% α-lipoic acid based on the total weight of the water-soluble substances, and preferably one or more substances selected from glycerol fatty acid esters, sucrose fatty acid esters, condensed recinolates, sorbitan fatty acid esters, propylene glycol fatty acid esters, saponins and sterols. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
