PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device capable of efficiently generating display data on the basis of information provided through communication by a prescribed data format. SOLUTION: This electronic device generating the display data on the basis of the communication with an external device by the first data format has: a requirement means distinctively requiring controlling data and display contents data of the display data to the external device; a communication intermediation means executing a first conversion process into the first data format from a second data format used for processing inside the electronic device about the requirement, and intermediating the communication by executing a second conversion process into the second data format from the first data format about the information; and a display data generation means generating the display data by use of the display contents data from the external device as it is the first data format.
