PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blower having a great amount of suction and blow and improved workability with a fan to be less deformed during abnormal rotation. SOLUTION: The inner wall of a casing 5 near an air inlet 3 is in an inclined shape to be gradually more distant from a motor 8 as tending toward a center shaft. When the fan 6 is deformed, a base plate portion 6b can abut on a wall face which partitions a motor storage chamber from a fan storage chamber and a blade portion 6c can abut on the inner wall of the casing 5.
