PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane maintaining high yield, improving various characteristics of the nucleic acid-adsorbing membrane, having good processing suitability and affording higher productivity in a method for separating and purifying the nucleic acid from a sample solution containing the nucleic acid using the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane and to provide the method for separating and purifying the nucleic acid using the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane. SOLUTION: The nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane formed by including an additive is used as the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane in the method for separating and purifying the nucleic acid from the sample solution containing the nucleic acid using the nucleic acid-adsorbing porous membrane.
