PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure reducing valve for steam free from temperature variation in temperature decreased-steam while uniformly mixing high-temperature steam and cooling fluid as a whole. SOLUTION: This pressure reducing valve 7 is mounted on a steam pipe conduit 1. The pressure reducing valve 7 is composed of a valve part 8, a gas-liquid separator 10 and a steam trap 11. A condensate supply pipe 3 is connected with a condensate outlet of the steam trap 11. A condensate storing part 2 is mounted on an outlet pipe conduit 5 and the other end of the condensate supply pipe 3 is connected therewith. An ultrasonic vibrator 4 is mounted on an outer periphery of the condensate storing part 2. A temperature sensor 6 is mounted on the outlet pipe conduit 5 for detecting a temperature of temperature-decreased steam. The condensate is atomized at the condensate storing part 2 by the ultrasonic vibrator 4, and mixed with superheated steam flowing down in the outlet pipe conduit 5 from an outlet 13 of the pressure reducing valve 7, thus a temperature of the superheated steam is decreased to the steam of prescribed temperature. By controlling an opening of a control valve 9 on the basis of a detected temperature value from the temperature sensor 6, the quantity of supplied condensate is controlled.
