PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce vibrating noises of a whole vehicle by reducing hammering and vibrating noises. SOLUTION: The cross grooved ball spline comprises an inner ring 20 having a track 22 angled to the axis and formed on the outer peripheral face, an outer ring 30 having a track 32 angled to the axis and formed on the inner peripheral face, a torque transmission ball 40 incorporated in a cross portion between the track 22 of the inner ring 20 and the track 32 of the outer ring 30, and a cage 50 laid between the outer peripheral face of the inner ring 20 and the inner peripheral face of the outer ring 30 and having a pocket storing the torque transmission ball 40. It is adopted for a gauge variable truck transmission system in such a manner that it is coaxially arranged on the outer periphery of an axle 10 with the outer ring 30 connected to the large gear of a gear box and the inner ring 20 connected to a wheel.
