The adjuster has two components (81, 82) which form a load-carrying transmission and are displaced in relation to each other by a drive unit (10). The drive unit is integrated into the transmission and arranged in the center of the components. The drive unit comprises of a transmission stage and an electronically commutated brushless motor (12) having rotors that rotate about an axis, where rotor is mounted on the transmission.
