<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove DC offset components to be superimposed on a base band signal from an RF circuit such as direct conversion or the like, and to suppress the deterioration in a reception bit error rate using it. <P>SOLUTION: The DC profile of DC offset components to be superimposed on a reception base band signal is estimated by digital signal processing by DC offset estimating means 141a and 141b. The DC offset components are removed by an arithmetic operation with subtractors 142a and 142b. Thus, it is possible to suppress the fluctuation of a DC voltage to be superimposed on a reception signal as well as a steady DC offset voltage, and to suppress the deterioration in a reception bit error rate. Also, it is possible to stabilize characteristics by executing whole compensation processing by digital signal processing, and to reduce power consumption without making it necessary to provide any analog element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
