<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a latent image bearing member with constitution capable of preventing the deterioration of image reproducibility, particularly image reproducibility of two or more color images due to variation of environmental conditions. <P>SOLUTION: On the latent image bearing member 3B, the steps of forming a latent image by exposure in a uniformly charged state, converting the latent image to a visible image with toner, and transferring the resulting toner image onto a recording medium are performed. The latent image bearing member 3B is constituted so that at least a charge generating layer 30B1, a charge transport layer 30B2 and a protective layer 3B2 are sequentially laminated on a conductive substrate 3B1, wherein 20-40 wt.% of a charge transport material is contained in the protective layer 3B2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
