<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch a water discharge form with light operating force without causing a water leakage from the periphery of an operating button for switching the discharge form of hot and cold water discharged from a discharge part even if foreign matters are included in hot and cold water passing through a water passage of a shower head. <P>SOLUTION: The shower head 10 is provided with a body 13 formed with the water passage 15 for hot and cold water to pass through; a plurality of discharge parts 18, 19 formed at the lower part of the body 13; a switching mechanism 20 mounted inside the body 13; and the operating button 12 linked with the switching mechanism 20 through an operating rod 21. The operating rod 21 is supported into a lateral hole 13b bored in the body 13, and a sealing member 31 for maintaining watertightness to the lateral hole 13b is mounted to the outer peripheral surface. The discharge form of hot and cold water discharged from the discharge parts 18, 19 can be switched by the movement of the switching mechanism 20 linked with the operating button 12. The operating rod 21 is mounted with a sealing member 30 for capturing foreign matters, between the sealing member 31 for maintaining watertightness and the water passage 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
