RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device compatible with digital broadcasting that provides ease of use without causing deviation in lip synchronization.

SOLUTION: The recording and reproducing device is configured to include: a reception section for receiving digital broadcast data; a video/audio signal generating section for generating a video signal and an audio signal included in the digital broadcast data received by the reception section; an image processing section for applying image processing to the video signal received from the video/audio signal generating section; and a delay section for receiving the audio signal generated by the video/audio signal generating section and adjusting temporal deviation between the received audio signal and the video signal processed by the image processing section.
