<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the body structure of a string instrument, with which the body structure can be made light in weight, whereas maintaing the strength as the whole body. <P>SOLUTION: In order to make the body structure of the string instrument light in weight and to improve the sound quality of the string instrument, the body 11 of the string instrument is constituted of a core material 20 which consists of solid-type light-weight wood, which is curved so that both sides of the width direction become thinner than the center section and mounting materials 21, 22 of front and back surfaces of the body which are made of wood harder than the core material 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
