PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a color reproduction in accordance with an application based on image data belonging to an scRGB space. SOLUTION: The image processing system 2 comprises the encoding apparatus 6 and a client terminal 8 which are connected via a network 4. The encoding program 30 comprises: a data acceptance part 32 which accepts the image data belonging to the scRGB space; an analysis part 34 which analyzes the image data; an encoding control part 38 which performs control so that the image data is encoded by stratification and a plurality of encoding parts 40a, 40b, 40c and is executed on the encoder 6. A decoding program 50 comprises: a data acceptance part 52 which accepts the data encoded by the encoder 6; a decoding control part 54 which performs control so that the image data encoded by stratification is decoded by stratification and a plurality of decoding parts 56a, 56b, 56c and is executed on the client terminal 8.
