PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor and video device which are equipped with a converter and an inverse converter for its calibration, wherein the influence or deviation of characteristic fluctuation between channels or chips is sufficiently reduced without complication of circuit constitution etc. and influence due to change over time or a change in environment such as temperature is hardly received. SOLUTION: The signal processor 1 is provided with a conversion means 2 for performing processing such as D/A conversion or A/D conversion and an inverse conversion means 4 for applying inverse conversion to the output value of the conversion means. The output values of a plurality of channels generated based on each output acquired by the plurality of conversion means or the output of the same conversion means are selectively switched by a switching means 3, and transmitted to an inverse conversion means 4. Then, the signal processor 1 is provided with a calibration means 5 for calculating difference between the output value of the inverse conversion means 4 and an input value before conversion by the conversion means 2, and for calibrating input/output characteristics concerning the conversion means 2.
