PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an optical module which operates stably for a variation in temperature even in a mounted state. SOLUTION: The optical module includes a semiconductor as a component, is held in a case, and constructed so that the case is cooled by a cooler composed of a Peltier element.
