PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion system with excellent maintenability wherein a thermoelectric conversion module can be easily and surely installed in a heat source and exhaust heat can be efficiently converted into electric energy by means of a thermoelectric conversion element for effective use. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric conversion system comprises the thermoelectric conversion module which receives heat from the heat source installed outside and converts the heat energy to electric energy, a cooling fin which covers the thermoelectric conversion module installed in the heat source and cools it, a permanent magnet which is joined to the end of the cooling fin while at the same time fixing the thermoelectric conversion module and the cooling fin to the heat source, and a thermoconductive sheet which electrically insulates between the heat source and the thermoelectric conversion module and between the cooling fin and the thermoelectric conversion module.
