PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachable/detachable sun visor for an automobile allowing easy post-installation and well shielding the sun light from the lateral side as well as from the front side. SOLUTION: The sun visor comprises a fixing decorative member 9 capable of being fixed to a side window side end part of an existing sun visor 4 already installed in a cabin of the automobile and a body part 8 rotatable to the fixing decorative member 9 via a hinge part 10. The body part 8 can be stored in the ceiling side of the cabin by being laid on the existing sun visor 4. In a condition that the existing sun visor 4 is arranged from the ceiling side to the upper part of a front window, the body part 8 is arranged on the side window side to shield the sun light from the lateral side.
