PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apartment house realizing a barrier-free state by extending a skeleton-infill unit integrating kitchen and sanitary facilities. SOLUTION: Extension units 15 each integrating a precast concrete skeleton 11 and infills equipped with kitchen and sanitary facilities 21, 22, 23 independently in the skeleton, are stacked and connected in proximity to the external wall surfaces of dwelling units 50A, 50A adjoining with a staircase 51 of an existing residential building 50 held between, in accordance with the floor height of the respective dwelling units 50A of the existing residential building while leaving a staircase 51 as it is, so as to form communicating passages 13 communicating with openings formed on the dwelling unit 50A side. Further, a slab of a common floor 19 having an entrance of an elevator facility 31 is laid between the extension units 15 of the adjoining dwelling units 50A, and a vestibule 14 provided at the extension unit 15 can be accessed by ascending/descending using the elevator facility 31.
