PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for developing a photogravure by which a change of a cell area after development is suppressed, reproducibility of cells is improved, defective photogravures can be diminished by preventing partial overdevelopment, adjustment in a printing process is made minimum by improved reproducibility of a photogravure, and indirect time can be shortened. SOLUTION: In the method for developing a photogravure in which development is performed by etching cell parts on which a photosensitizing agent film is provided, with an alkali developer containing sodium silicate as a principal component, the temperature of the photosensitizing agent film is adjusted to <35°C. In particular, air blowing on the photogravure through an air nozzle is effective as a means to adjust the temperature of the photosensitizing agent film to <35°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
