PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound processing unit improving articulation of any voice signals. SOLUTION: An analysis means 15 analyzes an input signal being input from an A/D converter 12, detects a bandwidth in which masking occurs between frequency components, from a frequency characteristic of the input signal. The pass bands of a low-pass filter 13 and a high-pass filter 14 are set so as to output a frequency band causing the masking and a masked frequency band, separately to a first voice output means 18 and a second voice output means 19.
